The Freshwater Trust wants to assure you that it is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.
The Freshwater Trust follows the CDC’s guidance to help employees and their families lower their risk of contracting and spreading a range of common respiratory viral illnesses, including COVID-19, flu, and RSV. We encourage all employees to get flu and COVID-19 vaccines and to stay home and away from others if they have respiratory virus symptoms.
Full-time office attendance is not required, and it is understood that employees are likely to have a hybrid schedule of in-office and at-home work. Schedules will continue to be flexible to accommodate our employees’ preferred working environment.
The Freshwater Trust believes in investing in our employees, their health, and their future through our benefits offerings. Our total rewards package includes health and dental coverage, automatic employer retirement contributions, and cell phone reimbursement. Because we are all in, we value getting out, and support our staff with 5 weeks of paid time off plus over 10 paid holidays per year. We also offer perks such as staff retreats, sabbatical for full-time staff after seven years, and professional development opportunities.
The Freshwater Trust offers comprehensive, flexible benefits to our eligible employees and their families. Employees must work full-time (30 hours per week) to be eligible for benefits.
Full-time regular employees of The Freshwater Trust are eligible to accrue 16.67 hours of PTO per month for a total of 25 days (200 hours). After two full years of employment, full-time regular employees are eligible to accrue PTO at 20 hours per month for a total of 30 days (240 hours). Regular employees working less than 40 hours per week will have pro-rated PTO benefits.
The Freshwater Trust offers a 401k plan to all employees working 1,000 hours or more per year. The Freshwater Trust contributes the equivalent of five percent (5%) of the employee’s gross salary to their 401k account every pay period. This amount is subject to change. Employees may also choose to contribute additional funds to their 401k plan via a payroll deduction consistent with applicable law and plan rules.
The Freshwater Trust is committed to providing access, equal opportunity, and reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities.
