Vivian has 17 years of experience in agricultural and resource economics. Her research focused on profitability, yield, cost, and budget analysis for crops as well as assessing their impacts on water quality. She also assessed farmers’ willingness to adopt best management practices. Vivian holds a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Economics at Mississippi State University and Doctor of Philosophy degree in Natural Resource Economics at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. As an analyst at The Freshwater Trust, she quantifies benefits from agricultural management practices and on-farm structural actions and habitat restoration actions using rigorous science, cost data, and analytical systems. Outside of the office, she enjoys cooking, walking, yoga, and playing ping-pong with her daughter.
