Eleanor Bash
Geospatial Hydrologist

Eleanor brings a broad array of remote sensing and modeling skills to her role at The Freshwater Trust. She has previous experience modeling watershed-scale glacier runoff, monitoring Earth surface characteristics with drones and LiDAR, developing automated remote sensing and GIS workflows, and field-based glacier mass-balance monitoring. Eleanor holds a PhD and Masters in Geography from the University of Calgary, specializing in glaciology. As a geospatial hydrologist, she applies her breadth of skills to a variety of projects within TFT’s Science and Analytics team. Eleanor also serves on the Board of Directors for the Girls on Ice Canada Society. Outside of the office, she enjoys camping and skiing with her family, as well as alone time knitting or out on her paddle board.
