Matthew Sebonia
Senior Project Finance Developer

Matthew recently moved back to White Salmon from Southeast Asia where he successfully developed, structured, and raised philanthropic capital for a regional clean energy venture fund. Prior to that, he worked for Ultra Capital and Equilibrium Capital to develop equity funds for sustainable energy, water and agricultural projects, and prior to graduate school helped to build and run a regional biodiesel firm. Matthew received his undergraduate degree from The Evergreen State College in Olympia Washington in Chemistry, and a Masters of Environmental Management from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies where he focused on Impact Investing, Conservation Finance and Clean Energy. As Senior Project Finance Developer, Matthew leads efforts to develop innovative conservation and impact investment structures that help drive environmental uplift while creating operational efficiency for land owners and other farmland stakeholders. Outside the office, he can be found rafting the Deschutes River or backcountry snowboarding in the Cascades. Matthew has been in the PNW for over 20 years and resides in White Salmon, WA.
