Mark McCollister
Habitat Restoration Director

Mark brings more than a decade of project management experience with fisheries biology and habitat restoration to The Freshwater Trust. He also has knowledge about Oregon native fish, plants and rivers having worked for Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Lewis & Clark College. He has also participated in a number of professional trainings including Wildland Hydrology Applied Fluvial Geomorphology and River Morphology & Applications. As the Habitat Restoration Director, Mark oversees both the habitat restoration program and team and manages all phases of habitat restoration work, including geographic prioritization, project selection, project management, monitoring and evaluation. When not in the field on a project, Mark enjoys flyfishing for steelhead.
