Denis Reich
Recruitment and Southern Oregon Program Director

Denis comes to The Freshwater Trust with years of knowledge and experience in sustainable agriculture, policy and community engagement. He worked for a number of years around the globe in municipal and industrial water treatment and in the Upper Colorado River Basin with the Colorado Water Institute, leading stakeholder planning processes, community outreach and applied research. Denis holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Sydney in Australia and a master’s degree in sustainable agriculture from Iowa State University. As the Recruitment and Southern Oregon Program Director, Denis represents The Freshwater Trust within the agricultural and landowner communities, especially where partnerships are needed to implement restoration work.  When not kicking the clods with landowners, Denis can be found running, skiing, biking, cooking, or picking on his guitar.
