Claire Brumbaugh-Smith
Analyst I – GIS

Claire brings a range of experiences, including map production, web mapping, public engagement, and amphibian and reptile surveying, to The Freshwater Trust. She has worked on habitat connectivity modeling of wildlife in Oregon as well as public participatory mapping for the National Forest Service. Claire holds a B.S. in Environmental Studies–Biology from Reed College and a GIS Certificate from Portland State University, and is currently completing a Geography master’s degree at Portland State University. As a GIS Analyst, Claire supports TFT’s mission through map production, GIS analysis, and data management. In her free time, Claire enjoys riding bikes (ideally to a new brewery or food cart), gardening, and reading books outside.
