Flow Restoration Director
Caylin brings a background in water law and policy, nonprofit coordination, and workflow consulting to her position with The Freshwater Trust. Her diverse experience includes developing policies to increase streamflows in Arizona, surveying rivers and teaching adaptive skiing in Tahoe, improving workflow at hospitals around the nation, and fighting wildfires throughout the West. Caylin has a bachelor’s degree in natural resources from Cornell University and a J.D. in natural resources law from the University of Arizona. As Flow Restoration Director, Caylin works closely with project managers, landowners, funders, and agencies to increase flows in priority streams through voluntary water deals with farmers, ranchers, and municipalities. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Stan, and playing hard on dirt, snow, rock and water.
