Caroline Brown brings over 3 years of diverse marketing and outreach experience to the Freshwater Trust. She began her career as a campaign coordinator for a winning mayoral campaign in Evanston, IL, before serving as a proposal writer for an emergency management consulting firm that helps communities prepare for and recover from disasters. Before joining the Freshwater Trust, Caroline supported clients across disparate industries, such as the City of Evanston, IL, and DePaul University College of Law, with their marketing and communications efforts. Caroline grew up on a lake in Wisconsin, where she served as a lifeguard and first learned to SUP, and brings her passion for water to her work with the Freshwater Trust. In her free time, she loves to boulder and draw mermaids.
