Joe S. Whitworth

Having led the organization since 2000, Joe has 18+ years of NGO management experience, as well as a background in environmental and natural resources law. He currently co-chairs the Water Subcommittee for the Oregon Global Warming Commission, serves on the Oregon Department of Agriculture Water Quality Program Review Committee, and is the founding board chair for the Council for Responsible Sport. He has published in both popular and technical journals and holds a J.D. from Lewis & ClarkCollege, Northwestern School of Law, and an A.B. from Dartmouth College. When not exploring new water, Portland, Oregon, serves as home base for him and his family.
